Scotty McCreery decided to stick in his country lane for the “year of your birth” episode of American Idol. Scotty selected a Travis Tritt classic, Can I Trust You With My Heart? While J-Lo didn’t seem overly impressed, she did encourage Scotty to keep growing saying that he is “right there” with his performance.
