The Private sector Eid Al Fitr 2011 holiday dates in the UAE announced as Shawwal 1 and Shawwal 2, the first two days of Eid, which seems likely to be Wednesday 31 August 2011 and Thursday 01 September 2011 but that was not clearly stated in the announcement and might depend on a moon sighting.
