Yep the mostly-ironically titled Britain's Got Talent, which launched the wonderful Paul Potts on the world last year, returns to ITV1 this Saturday. Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden are the ones behind the desk pulling faces/rolling eyes/crying (delete as appropriate).
Auditions are of course now closed, but those who did make it through to the 'get filmed so everyone can laugh at you' stage have been turning up in their droves to attempt to impress the judges. Very amusing slideshow of the wannabes (plus some mysteriously kinky shots of Amanda Holden)

Not all the talent was, well, talented. Cowell said: "The first few audition days in Blackpool were really the worst I have ever seen. It's like a horror movie sometimes - just when you think you've seen it all, something new comes along much worse. I never want to see the Elvis impersonator on stage again. When people see the show this year they will understand."
Piers agreed: "I thought we'd stumbled on to the set of Nightmare On Elm Street by the end of that first session. We were expecting big things from the home of British variety, but it wasn't so much end of the pier stuff as `chuck them off the pier' stuff. It was so bad."
Bit harsh. Amanda loves it, though: "I'm thrilled to say Britain is still deluded and I love it. The worst audition has to be the escapologist in Blackpool that couldn't get out of the sack.
"We kept it going on for longer and longer as we weren't sure if it was part of the act - we went through all the emotions waiting to see. In the end Ant and Dec had to come on and rescue him."
