audience members were treated to at least a few seconds of entertainment. A very teasery teaser of The Dark Knight Rises ran during the coming attractions. And those few seconds of words on screen resulted in the only cheers that audience was able to muster up that day. Until The Green Lantern credits began rolling. I’m joking. I didn’t see The Green Lantern so I don’t know how bad or awful it is. The only reason I’m writing it in this fashion is because I imagine that’s how we will the tell the story to our grandkids about how The Dark Knight franchise brought on universal unity.
